I Love Pelican Lights!Aug 04, 2011

I've liked Pelican Mity-Lites for many years now - they have long been the lightest and brightest of small-form flashlights - and since they have now come out with an LED version of the Mity-Lite - I decided to give it a try. Excellent product - many times brighter than the previous Mity-Lite, runs way longer on the same batteries, VERY light in your pocket, and it's still got the solid case - which I like as these lights invariably end up in my mouth (as I use my hands for something) and because there's no cap/screw-on end piece, and the body is plastic, it doesn't chip my teeth (like a Maglight/metal bodied flashlight will) and doesn't get wet internally. NOT my tactical light - but a great camping/working light. Can't comment on diving with it - but I can definately say that I've gotten it soaking wet several times with no problems.
